Lynn Tirado

Hello and Welcome!  My name is Lynn Tirado, and I am the founder of a Shaman’s Love.  I am a Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master, and Spiritual Life Coach located in Monmouth County, Asbury Park, NJ.

My journey into Spirituality, Energy Healing, and Shamanism began in 2007.  After having achieved all the social norms of success such as a long-term relationship, owning a home, business, car, and a high figure income, my world was suddenly turned upside down into chaos when my long-term relationship abruptly came to an end.  It was as if everything I had trusted and known to be true, suddenly wasn’t true at all.  Feeling shattered, lost and broken, I attempted to distract myself with work, alcohol, and new relationships which all ended with me feeling even more pain.  I finally gave up, surrendered and asked for help and guidance.

As painful as those experiences were, they were a catalyst to years of self exploration and discovery that has lead me down a path and on a journey to unimaginable places and experiences that has brought me so much love, compassion, joy, gratitude and enrichment to my life.  I now understand that our darkest moments and greatest challenges in life are spiritual tools used by our inner being (our soul) to awaken us to our true self and destiny.  It’s like a calling card to awaken and expand our consciousness.

Although our inner being (our soul) is like a shining star radiating beautiful light, the moment we merge into our physical body, we find ourselves in a reality that consists of light and dark, life and death, love and fear.  This contrast allows us to experience the variety of life.  It gives us the opportunity to clarify what we want and want we don’t want.  It give us the opportunity to choose what we want to focus on, how we want to express ourselves, and who we want to be.

My experience as a lightworker began with Reiki training with Maureen Conroy, RSM, D.Min. at The Upper Room Spiritual Center in Neptune, NJ.  I completed four levels of Reiki training and received my Reiki Master Level Attunement in Unlimited “White Light” Reiki System of Natural Healing in 2015.  My Reiki lineage is Dr. Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Mrs. Hawayo Hiromi Takata, Virginia W. Samdahl, Rev. Arthur L. Robertson, James P. Davis, Lauri Allen Grant, Rev. Stevan J. Thayer, Maureen Conroy (RSM, D.Min.)

In 2014, I received the book “Shaman, Healer, Sage:  How to Heal Yourself and Others with the Energy Medicine of the Americas” by Alberto Villoldo, Ph. D.  The book was given to me by an Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner with whom I had received a Body Energy Assessment.  As she handed me the book, she said “My intuition is telling me to give you this book.  Perhaps it will resonate with you, and if not, you can just return it.”  As I took hold of the book and read the title, I remembered hearing the word “Shaman” only once before in my life and didn’t really know anything about it except that they are able to somehow communicate with the spirit world.

As my curiosity grew about receiving the book, I began to research Alberto Villoldo.  To my amazement, I discovered that he would be in Rhinebeck, NY at the Omega Institute offering a workshop called The Great Shamanic Initiation.  Unable to disregard the synchronicity of events, I felt compelled to participate.  It was a rare opportunity to experience energetic transmissions from Q’ero Shamans from Peru.  The workshop focused on two initiation ceremonies:  the erasing of personal karma and the awakening of the light body.  First, we experienced a fire ceremony that taught us how to cut the energetic cords that bind us to our past and to the darkness of our collective history.  During the second ceremony, we received energetic transmissions from the Q’ero Shamans Don Francisco, Don Juan, and Doña Juana to awaken our light body.  These transmissions help us to grow a body that heals and ages differently, and allows us to dream a new world into being.  In the final ceremony facilitated by Marcela Lobos, I received the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki: The Rite of the Womb.  This energetic transmission is intended to heal all women of the suffering they carry in their belly.  Needless to say, at the end of that long weekend at Omega Institute, I knew I was being lead down a new and unusual path.

In 2015, I was accepted into a two-year shamanic apprenticeship with Adam Kane.  By 2017, I had become a Pachakuti Mesa Carrier and Shamanic Practitioner, participated in several Lakota Inipi Sweat Lodge Ceremonies with Marion WanagiWi, and sat in numerous Sacred Plant Medicine Ceremonies (Huachuma and Ayahuasca) with Javier Regueiro at The Ayaruna Center in the Sacred Valley of Peru, and with Gerald Powell at Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica.

All of these experiences have molded me into the person I am today.  I am filled with love, compassion, and joy.  I know the truth of who I really am, and appreciate and honor both the physical and non-physical (spiritual) aspects of myself.  I cultivate a practice of asking my inner being, “What would someone who loves themselves do?”, and I allow the flow of inspiration that ensues to lead me.

My hope is that all people come to know the truth of who they really are, and allow the abundance of well-being to flow into their lives.

If you are struggling and feel called to seek assistance, I am here for you.

With unconditional love and compassion,
